
Caltrans is planning overnight lane closures on southbound Interstate 5 (I-5) in Sun Valley and overnight street closures on Sheldon Street, starting Monday, May 11 through Sunday, May 17, for bridge repair work on Sheldon Street Overcrossing.
Southbound I-5 will be reduced to one lane overnight between Branford Street and Sheldon Street/Laurel Canyon Boulevard.
Westbound Sheldon Street will be reduced to one lane overnight between Laurel Canyon Boulevard and Remick Avenue.
The closures are subject to change and are scheduled as follows:
Monday, May 11 through Friday, May 15:

Caltrans encourages motorists to allow extra travel time and to drive with caution in the area.
Due to weather or operational reasons, the schedule is subject to change including the times and dates, the number of closures and other details. This work is part of $1.7 million bridge repair project to address damages to the southbound side of Sheldon Street Overcrossing. The contractor is Interstate Civil Construction.
