SVANC 2nd Annual Clothes Drive Supporting DART

The Sun Valley Area Neighborhood Council is hosting its 2nd annual clothes drive to support the LAPD Foothill Area Domestic Abuse Response Team (DART). Community members are encouraged to donate new or gently used clothing to help individuals and families affected by domestic violence.

Clothes Drive Dates and Location

Drop-off Dates:
February 20, 2026
March 20, 2026
April 17, 2026
May 15, 2026

Time: 6:30 PM to 8:00 PM
Location: 8720 Sunland Blvd., Sun Valley, CA 91352

Items Needed

• New clothing
• Clean, gently used clothing
• Items organized by gender and size
• Bags or boxes labeled clearly
• Undergarments must be new

About the DART Program

The Domestic Abuse Response Team (DART) pairs an LAPD police officer with a domestic violence advocate. Together, they respond to incidents of reported domestic violence.

Their goal is to provide education, resources, and follow-up services to those affected by domestic abuse. Clothing donations help provide immediate comfort and support during difficult times.

El Consejo Vecinal del Área de Sun Valley está organizando su 2ª colecta anual de ropa para apoyar al Equipo de Respuesta al Abuso Doméstico (DART) del Área Foothill del LAPD. Se invita a la comunidad a donar ropa nueva o en buen estado para apoyar a personas y familias afectadas por la violencia doméstica.
